Rain expected, slight rise in temperatures and humidity

emirates7 - Today’s weather will be generally fair to partly cloudy, with a chance of convective (rain-bearing) clouds developing over the eastern areas by afternoon. Temperatures are on an upward trend as a weak low-pressure system from the east interacts with high-pressure systems over the west and upper atmosphere.

Along the coast, daytime highs are expected to reach around 41°C, easing down to 37°C by night. Inland areas will be much hotter, climbing to 44°C during the day before dropping to about 40°C overnight. Mountain regions will be noticeably cooler, with maximums near 33°C and lows around 28°C.

Winds will shift between southwesterly and northwesterly at 10–25 km/h, occasionally gusting up to 35 km/h. By nighttime and into Thursday morning, humidity levels will rise, particularly in coastal and inland zones, increasing the likelihood of fog or mist. Winds will generally remain light to moderate, strengthening at times. Sea conditions are expected to stay calm, with slight movement in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
