Rain in Sharjah and Fujairah, showers expected in Dubai, Al Ain Monday

emirates7 - Scattered rain showers have been observed in various parts of the UAE, bringing a welcome break from the scorching summer temperatures. According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), early morning rainfall was recorded on Monday, August 4, in Khor Fakkan and Fujairah, as well as in some inland areas of Sharjah.

The NCM has issued yellow and orange alerts due to the presence of convective (rain-bearing) clouds over the eastern regions, with forecasts indicating a chance of further rain in Dubai, Al Ain, and other eastern areas. This comes after Al Ain experienced rainfall on Sunday, offering relief from the heat.

Meanwhile, humidity is expected to increase overnight and into Tuesday morning across some coastal and interior regions, potentially leading to fog or mist. Winds will be light to moderate, occasionally becoming stronger, and sea conditions are expected to remain slight to moderate in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
