emirates7 - The UAE National Programme for Artificial Intelligence, in collaboration with the National Programme for Coders, has launched the seventh edition of the UAE Artificial Intelligence Summer Camp.
This initiative is designed to empower youth by unlocking their potential and equipping them with cutting-edge AI tools and technologies. It focuses on developing future-ready skills that enable participants to apply AI in various areas of life.
Running from mid-July to mid-August 2025, the camp encourages young people to explore innovative solutions to real-world problems and contribute to progress in advanced tech industries.
Open to participants of all ages and backgrounds—including children, students, professionals, and AI specialists—the camp offers an inclusive learning environment that spans diverse segments of society.
The programme features a well-rounded curriculum built around seven key themes: the future of AI, data science and machine learning, smart applications in sectors such as education, healthcare, and finance, web development and robotics, AI ethics and governance, cybersecurity, and virtual and augmented reality.
Participants can engage in a wide variety of learning formats, including workshops, interactive sessions, hackathons, expert talks, and challenges.
Dr. Abdulrahman Al Mahmoud, Director at the UAE Government’s Office for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, highlighted that the camp embodies the leadership’s vision of cultivating a knowledgeable and capable generation ready to lead the future with AI.
He noted that the continued success and growing engagement with the camp reflect rising awareness among individuals and institutions of the importance of embracing advanced technologies and preparing proactively for the digital era.
Dr. Al Mahmoud also pointed out that the camp is part of a larger government framework aimed at building a sustainable digital economy and positioning the UAE as a global leader in future technologies.
The workshops are delivered in partnership with various government bodies, private sector institutions, and leading global tech firms specialising in AI and coding.
Topics covered include how robots function, AI innovation, “The AI Hour,” app development with Apple Education, AI in employment markets, AI gaming labs, as well as sessions on AI agents, chatbots, business development powered by AI, and AI applications in sustainability, agriculture, water, ocean science, and public safety.
Over its previous six editions, the UAE AI Summer Camp has attracted more than 34,000 participants from diverse educational backgrounds, offering events and training programmes aimed at enhancing skills in the latest tech trends.
