‘Battle of Galwan’ teaser out: Salman Khan unveils intense first look poster

emirates7 - After completing his work on Sikandar, Bollywood icon Salman Khan is now preparing for his next big film — Battle of Galwan. The filmmakers have just revealed the first look poster of this war drama, helmed by director Apoorva Lakhia, offering audiences a first glimpse of Khan in a bold and intense new role.

In the poster, Khan is seen with a rugged appearance, a thick moustache, a blood-smeared face, and a piercing expression — portraying a battle-hardened soldier. The powerful tagline reads: “Over 15,000 feet above sea level, India fought its most brutal battle without firing a single bullet.”

Motion poster ignites patriotic fervor
The motion poster was shared on the film’s official Instagram page with the caption: “Blood, grit, and patriotism at 15,000 ft. Salman Khan is ready for the most powerful story of modern India. #BattleOfGalwan motion poster out now!” Khan also posted it across his own social media accounts, stirring emotional responses from fans.

Inspired by the real 2020 Galwan Valley conflict
Battle of Galwan draws from the real-life confrontation between Indian and Chinese troops in 2020 in the Galwan Valley, a region within the disputed Ladakh border area. The encounter, remarkable for its lack of gunfire due to existing bilateral agreements, resulted in the first fatalities in the India-China border conflict in over 40 years.

Supporting cast and crew updates
Starring alongside Khan is Chitrangada Singh, with music composed by Himesh Reshammiya. It’s also reported that three emerging male actors will portray key soldiers in Khan’s unit.

Release date still under wraps
Despite the unveiling of the motion poster, the filmmakers have yet to confirm an official release date for Battle of Galwan.
