AMEA Power, Kyuden International to accelerate clean energy, green hydrogen projects

emirates7 - AMEA Power has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kyuden International Corporation, a subsidiary of Japan’s Kyuden Group.

This collaboration is focused on jointly advancing renewable energy and green hydrogen initiatives that promote decarbonization, strengthen energy resilience, and foster inclusive economic growth in key markets.

Hussain Al Nowais, Chairman of AMEA Power, stated, “Partnering with Kyuden International represents a significant milestone in AMEA Power’s mission to lead the energy transition in our regions of operation. The MoU sets the groundwork for collaboration between both firms to develop large-scale clean energy projects, leveraging AMEA Power’s extensive experience and proven track record alongside Kyuden International’s advanced technological expertise.

Currently, AMEA Power operates and is constructing over 2,600 MW of capacity, with a project pipeline exceeding 6 GW across more than 20 countries.

Kyuden International contributes deep technical knowledge and global experience from the Kyuden Group, further supporting the advancement of low-carbon energy systems and environmentally sustainable technologies.
