emirates7 - The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR) has established a Youth Council to enhance the participation of young people in improving institutional operations and government effectiveness.
This initiative aligns with the Federal Youth Authority’s Guide for Youth Empowerment in Federal Government Entities, underscoring the ministry’s dedication to implementing national best practices in empowering youth.
The Youth Council’s mission is to nurture the growth of skilled national leaders within the higher education and scientific research fields. This newly formed council will serve as a platform for young staff members to voice their opinions, share innovative ideas, and develop their leadership abilities. Additionally, it will promote projects proposed by young employees, thereby strengthening their role in enhancing the workplace environment.
The council consists of 14 members drawn from various departments within the ministry. It is led by Rashid Karam Jalal Al Kaabi, Head of the Attachés and Support for Scholarship Students Department, with Mona Hassan Ali Al Shehhi acting as Vice President.
Other members include Fatima Ahmed Obaid Al Hammadi, Saleh Saif Mohammed Al Ameer, Maryam Fouad Ahmed Al Hammadi, Jawaher Obaid Sultan Al Janahi, Fatima Salem Saif Al Ghafli, Mohamed Khalifa Mohamed Saeed Al Qubaisi, Israa Abdul Karim Abdullah Al Ansari, Aisha Nasser Saeed Al Mazrouei, Hilal Hamdan Saif Al Busaidi, Sarah Mohammed Saeed Al Mansouri, Naema Salem Saeed Al Marzouqi, and Lulwa Ali Mohammed Al Tamimi.
