emirates7 - TRENDS Research & Advisory has announced its role as the Research Partner for the inaugural Emirates Agriculture Conference and Exhibition 2025, organized by the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment. The event is scheduled to take place from May 28 to 31, 2025, at the ADNEC Centre in Al Ain City.

Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS, expressed his pride in this strategic collaboration, emphasizing that the partnership provides a vital platform for advancing scientific dialogue and fostering agricultural innovation in the UAE. He noted that the Ministry’s decision to appoint TRENDS as a Research Partner reflects its recognition of research as a key driver of knowledge and highlights TRENDS’ ongoing commitment to sustainability and evidence-based solutions to pressing challenges.

TRENDS will feature in a dedicated pavilion powered by artificial intelligence and will actively participate in research sessions and workshops that explore the future of agriculture and the role of knowledge in driving sustainable, innovative agricultural practices.

Dr. Al-Ali also pointed out TRENDS’ continued focus on agricultural transformation through its diverse research efforts. Key publications include Climate-Smart Agriculture: Innovative Solutions to Achieve Food Security in the Gulf Countries; the report The Shift Towards Sustainable Agriculture Systems in the UAE: Challenges and Opportunities; a specialized study on Decarbonization in the Gulf Agricultural Sector and Mechanisms for Reducing It; and the book Mangroves: Sustainable Environmental Treasures, which highlights the critical ecological and economic value of mangroves in enhancing biodiversity and mitigating climate change.
