During the event, the ministry will showcase major national projects and innovative smart technologies designed to improve demand-side management efficiency for energy and water, promote decarbonization in these sectors, and ensure the sustainable use of these essential resources.

MoEI will also present an overview of the UAE Energy Strategy 2050, which aims to raise the proportion of clean energy capacity to 30% of the total energy mix by 2030 and boost renewable energy capacity to 14 GW by the same year.

In addition, the ministry will highlight the National Hydrogen Strategy 2050, targeting the UAE to become a global leader in hydrogen production by 2031, along with the National Water and Energy Demand Side Management Programme 2050, which seeks to reduce energy consumption by 40% and water consumption by 51% by 2050 compared to current trends.

Throughout the Congress, MoEI will emphasize the advancement of digital transformation within energy and water sectors, presenting various interactive digital models aimed at enhancing planning efficiency and sustainable management of these crucial utilities. This will help improve service continuity, resilience, and the country's capacity to adapt to future challenges.
