emirates7 - Ismail Al Naqi, Director-General of the Ajman Free Zones Authority, stated that the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Administrative Committee in China is intended to strengthen mutual investment and foster business cooperation.

In an interview with the Emirates News Agency (WAM) during the China (Chongqing) – UAE Economic and Trade Investment Promotion Conference, Al Naqi explained that the agreement supports Ajman’s strategic goal of positioning itself as a premier hub for international businesses looking to enter the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

He reaffirmed Ajman’s commitment to attracting foreign investment and solidifying its reputation as a regional economic powerhouse.

The Ajman Free Zones Authority provides a comprehensive business ecosystem, including licensing, employment solutions, and a variety of real estate offerings, all within a business-friendly regulatory framework aligned with Ajman Vision 2030.

Al Naqi stressed that the partnership with Chongqing is a vital component of Ajman’s efforts to draw high-calibre investments and represents a significant move toward deeper collaboration with prominent global cities. He emphasized Ajman’s continued focus on sustainable economic development through strategic, innovation-led partnerships.
