Ajman Chamber explores stronger ties with Chinese investors

emirates7 - Ali Rashid Al Kaitoob, Executive Director of the Studies and Investment Development Sector at the Ajman Chamber, emphasized the Chamber's strong commitment to boosting economic ties with Chinese investors, building on the deepening relationship between the UAE and China.

Speaking to the Emirates News Agency (WAM) during the China (Chongqing) – UAE Economic and Trade Investment Promotion Conference, Al Kaitoob highlighted that Ajman’s involvement in the event reflects its dedication to engaging with the Chinese investment community and identifying new opportunities for collaboration.

He noted that the Chamber’s delegation includes representatives from various companies eager to establish business connections with Chinese private sector partners, aiming to foster sustainable partnerships and share expertise across key strategic sectors.

Al Kaitoob also referenced a recent milestone in bilateral cooperation: a AED5 billion infrastructure investment agreement signed in 2024 between the Ajman government and China’s SINOMACH group. He described this deal as a testament to the increasing confidence and cooperation between public and private entities in both countries.

Looking ahead, he said Ajman seeks to attract more Chinese investment in vital sectors such as real estate, tourism, manufacturing, education, healthcare, and cultural initiatives, with the goal of building a well-rounded and enduring economic partnership.

Al Kaitoob reiterated the Ajman Chamber’s full support for Chinese investors exploring the local market, offering facilitation services and guidance to help them navigate and connect with the wider business landscape of the emirate.
