emirates7 - Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, met with Abdourahamane Tchiani, President of the Republic of the Niger, in Niamey to explore ways to enhance bilateral relations in various areas of shared interest.

During the meeting, Sheikh Shakhboot conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai; and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, to President Tchiani, along with their best wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the government and people of Niger.

President Tchiani, in turn, extended his regards to the UAE leaders and wished the UAE continued development and success. He also praised the strong and longstanding ties between Niger and the UAE, as well as their cooperation across various sectors.

Both parties underscored the significance of strengthening collaboration in key areas such as sustainable development, energy, and education to benefit both nations and their citizens.
