Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation conducts tour for 'Prophet’s Neighbours Endowment'

emirates7 - The Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation (SSEF) recently held an introductory tour of the "Prophet’s Neighbours Endowment" project at the Sharjah Public Works Department.

An interactive pavilion set up by the foundation drew notable interest and participation from department staff, who learned about the project's mission to support and empower orphans, as well as its broader humanitarian goals. The initiative has garnered the attention and support of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

During the visit, SSEF representatives outlined various ways employees can contribute to the endowment. These include direct bank transfers, monthly salary deductions, purchasing endowment certificates of varying denominations to suit different donors, or making online donations through the specially developed "Neighbours of the Prophet" platform.

Maryam Al Khalifa, Director of the Relations and Sponsorship Affairs Department at SSEF, expressed pride in the collaboration with the Sharjah Public Works Department, praising their enthusiastic involvement in a project that aims to lasting sources of income to uplift and empower orphans.

Maryam Al Mazmi, Director of the Corporate Communications Centre at the Department, said it was a privilege to welcome the SSEF team as part of their awareness campaign for the “Prophet’s Neighbours Endowment”. She described the initiative as a meaningful example of sustainable charitable work and affirmed that supporting such humanitarian efforts aligns with the department's core strategic priorities.
