Ras Al Khaimah to highlight growth, investment opportunities at 'Make it in the Emirates'

emirates7 - The Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, represented by key government bodies and private sector firms, is preparing to highlight its rapid growth, investment prospects, and competitive strengths at the upcoming four-day Make it in the Emirates 2025 event.

Participants from Ras Al Khaimah will include the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), Ras Al Khaimah Chamber, RAK Ceramics, and Julphar Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries. The event is recognized as one of the UAE’s leading manufacturing conferences, bringing together innovators, investors, and policymakers to shape the country’s industrial future under the theme “Advanced Industries. Accelerated.”

These entities will emphasize Ras Al Khaimah’s remarkable multi-sector growth in recent years, highlighting major investments like the upcoming Wynn Al Marjan Island resort in hospitality. The Emirate’s diversified economy features no single sector contributing more than 27% to GDP. Additionally, Ras Al Khaimah is making strides in digital innovation with the RAK Digital Assets Oasis, a free zone dedicated to digital and virtual asset companies.

A government spokesperson from Ras Al Khaimah stated, “Make it in the Emirates is a vital part of the UAE’s ambition to become a global industrial hub, providing the perfect platform for Ras Al Khaimah to showcase its status as one of the fastest-growing and most economically diversified regions in the Middle East. With its strategic location, evolving industrial sector, and investor-friendly policies, Ras Al Khaimah offers abundant opportunities for businesses to establish, grow, or innovate. We look forward to presenting the Emirate’s competitive edge and collaborating with partners who share our vision for sustainable, high-impact economic development.”

RAKEZ, the dynamic business and industrial hub of Ras Al Khaimah hosting over 30,000 companies ranging from SMEs to large manufacturers, will highlight investment opportunities as well as available land and warehousing. RAKEZ will share its exhibition space with the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber at the event.

RAKEZ Group CEO Ramy Jallad will participate in a panel discussion titled “Synergies in the UAE’s Industrial Landscape,” exploring the competitive dynamics and strategic partnerships among the UAE’s major industrial zones. The conversation will focus on incentives, enablers, and policies driving success, and how RAKEZ supports industrial localization, attracts investment, and strengthens supply chains in line with the UAE’s ‘Operation 300bn’ strategy—aiming to boost the industrial sector’s GDP contribution to AED 300 billion by 2031.

RAKEZ will also showcase its recent AED 1.1 billion deal with THi to develop a 130,000-square-meter industrial park for advanced technology companies, expected to 2,500 jobs.

At the event, RAKEZ will sign an agreement with Faraday Future to establish a AED 30 million, 10,000-square-meter luxury electric vehicle assembly plant, which will generate 200 jobs.

Ras Al Khaimah Chamber will promote the Emirate as a strategic destination for industrial investment, spotlighting growth and opportunities in manufacturing, building materials, food, and technology sectors. The Chamber will also lead discussions on enhancing public-private partnerships and boosting local industrial product promotion during the event.

Meanwhile, RAK Ceramics will have a prominent presence, displaying a wide range of collections including bathroom and kitchen products, faucets, and tableware. Its Group CEO, Abdullah Massaad, will participate in a panel on the first day discussing “What it takes to take the Made in the Emirates brand globally,” emphasizing the importance of robust infrastructure in raising the profile of the ‘Made in the Emirates’ brand worldwide.

Julphar, along with other private Ras Al Khaimah companies such as RAKNOR concrete products, Gulf Cement Company, Ras Al Khaimah Company for White Cement and Construction Materials, Streit Group, and Spatial Composite Solutions, will also be actively involved in the event.
