Dusty skies expected on Saturday across country

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has reported a in temperatures, with humidity increasing by night. This could result in the formation of fog or mist over some coastal and inland areas on the morning of Sunday, May 18.

Daytime temperatures are forecast to range between 34°C and 38°C, while nighttime lows are expected to fall between 20°C and 25°C.

Winds will be light to moderate overall but may pick up at times, leading to blowing dust. Wind speeds could reach up to 40 km/h in inland and mountainous regions, and up to 35 km/h in coastal and island areas.

Sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf will be rough, prompting the NCM to issue a yellow alert. The alert warns of fresh northwesterly winds reaching 40 km/h and offshore wave heights of up to 6 feet. These conditions are expected to persist until 6 a.m. on Sunday, May 18.
