In recognition of the International Day of Families, Sheikh Abdullah emphasized the special relevance of this year’s celebration, given the recent establishment of the Ministry of Family. He noted that this milestone reflects the UAE’s strategic commitment to making families a central focus of national policy, reinforcing their vital role in driving both social and economic advancement.

He stated, “Since its inception, the UAE has held the belief that empowering families is fundamental to empowering society as a whole. In line with this vision, the nation has built a comprehensive system encompassing the social, education, healthcare, and housing sectors to enhance family well-being and strengthen their roles in all areas of life.”

Sheikh Abdullah also stressed that the UAE views human development as beginning within the family unit—through strong familial bonds and the supportive environment that nurtures care, dignity, and empowerment.

He concluded by emphasizing the importance of cooperation between families and all segments of society, promoting a collective responsibility to raise confident, driven generations who will actively shape the UAE’s future and contribute to its continued progress.
