emirates7 - His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, has arrived at the Presidential Palace in Astana, the capital city of Kazakhstan.

Upon his arrival, Sheikh Khaled was welcomed by the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

An official welcome ceremony took place at the palace, during which President Tokayev accompanied the Crown Prince to the ceremonial platform. The national anthems of the United Arab Emirates and Kazakhstan were then played.

Sheikh Khaled and President Tokayev inspected the guard of honour assembled in the palace courtyard in their honour.

As part of the ceremony, Sheikh Khaled exchanged greetings with Kazakh ministers and top officials, while President Tokayev welcomed members of the UAE delegation accompanying the Crown Prince.

Sheikh Khaled is joined on his visit by a senior UAE delegation that includes several ministers and high-ranking government officials.
