The ceremony took place in Libreville, the capital, following President Nguema's successful election.

Sheikh Shakhboot emphasized the ongoing growth in UAE-Gabon relations and pointed to the many promising opportunities to further enhance cooperation for the mutual benefit of both nations.

President Nguema, in turn, extended his regards to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court. He conveyed his best wishes for continued prosperity and advancement for the UAE leadership and people.

He also expressed gratitude for the UAE's presence at the ceremony and reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and fostering collaboration that serves the interests of both countries and their citizens.
