emirates7 - President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation met with H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, at the conclusion of Sheikh Saif’s official visit to Russia.
During the meeting, Sheikh Saif conveyed the greetings of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, along with heartfelt wishes for continued development and prosperity for President Putin and the Russian people.
The talks highlighted the longstanding and strong ties between the UAE and Russia, underlining the significance of their partnership in promoting international peace and strengthening global cooperation.
Both sides reviewed a range of bilateral initiatives and joint efforts in security and law enforcement. This included discussions on the fruitful results of their collaboration, the launch of a strategic police dialogue, and ongoing joint training in child protection. They also considered ways to expand these initiatives in line with the shared goals of their respective leaderships.
Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Jaber, the UAE Ambassador to Russia, was also present at the meeting.
