Minister of Justice meets UN Office on Drugs and Crime delegation

emirates7 - On Tuesday, Minister of Justice Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi met with a delegation from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), headed by Jo Dedeyne-Amann, Secretary of the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice and UNODC Representative, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi.

The discussions centered on strengthening coordination and cooperation in preparation for the 15th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, set to take place in Abu Dhabi in April 2026.

Minister Al Nuaimi emphasized the importance of reinforcing joint initiatives and enhancing global partnerships to tackle organized crime and drug-related challenges, while adhering to international standards and upholding human rights principles.
