UAE, Ecuadorian Presidents discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation

emirates7 - His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and His Excellency Daniel Noboa, President of Ecuador, held a meeting today to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation, focusing on sectors such as economy, trade, renewable energy, sustainability, investment, tourism, and agriculture.

The talks aimed to strengthen ties for mutual benefit, fostering prosperity and development for both nations and their citizens.

During the meeting at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, His Highness extended a warm welcome to President Noboa and congratulated him once again on his re-election, wishing him continued success in leading Ecuador to further progress.

Both leaders emphasized their shared commitment to deepening cooperation and expanding their partnership in the years ahead. They also stressed the importance of leveraging opportunities to encourage mutual growth.

In addition, the two presidents exchanged views on regional and global matters of common interest, reaffirming their dedication to working towards peace and stability, which are crucial for promoting development and prosperity worldwide.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed emphasized the notable progress in UAE-Ecuador relations, particularly in the economic domain, and expressed the UAE’s commitment to furthering its economic partnerships with Latin American countries. These efforts have contributed to the advancement of UAE-Ecuador relations.

President Noboa, in turn, thanked Sheikh Mohamed for the warm reception and hospitality, reiterating Ecuador’s desire to strengthen its relationship with the UAE.

The meeting was attended by various senior officials, including H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, and several ministers and representatives from both countries.
