Dubai South records 15% growth in business aviation movements in Q1 2025

emirates7 - The Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH), Dubai South’s aerospace platform focused on advancing the aviation sector, recorded 5,275 movements in the first quarter of 2025, reflecting a 15% increase compared to the same period in 2024.

This achievement highlights the rapid growth of the business aviation sector and strengthens Al Maktoum International Airport's status as the region's top hub for international business aviation.

Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South, remarked, “The demand for business aviation has been increasing annually, fueled by Dubai’s strong appeal in both the business and tourism sectors. At MBRAH, we are dedicated to fostering this growth with the exceptional ecosystem we provide for private jet owners and high-net-worth individuals at our state-of-the-art VIP Terminal. Situated within Dubai South, MBRAH also hosts maintenance centers as well as training and education facilities.
