Jiu-Jitsu National Team to compete in Grand Prix Paris Open 2025 in France

emirates7 - The UAE Jiu-Jitsu National Team, sponsored by Mubadala Investment Company, left for France earlier today to compete in the Grand Prix Paris Open 2025, which will take place from April 25th to 27th.

As one of the leading events on the global jiu-jitsu circuit, the championship draws some of the top-ranked competitors from around the world.

Mohamed Salem Al Dhaheri, Vice Chairman of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, emphasized the significance of competing at the highest level and expressed confidence in the team's preparation.

"Competing in international events like the Grand Prix Paris Open is essential," Al Dhaheri stated. "It challenges our athletes' skills, enhancing both their technical and mental abilities, while strengthening their global reputation. These competitions provide an excellent opportunity for our athletes to prove their capabilities against top-tier opponents."

Coach Helder Medeiros of the national team added, "The team has undergone intensive training recently, focusing on physical fitness, tactical awareness, and technical improvement. We are heading to Paris with a highly skilled team that is ready to take on the challenge. No matter the level of competition, we believe our athletes will deliver strong performances and further contribute to the UAE’s growing success in international jiu-jitsu."
