emirates7 - Dubai South, the largest single-urban master development dedicated to aviation, logistics, and real estate, has announced the inauguration of Expeditors’ new facility located in its Logistics District.
The launch event was attended by Mohsen Ahmad, CEO of the Logistics District at Dubai South; along with Expeditors' key executives: Wael Hanna, District Manager for Dubai; K Murali, Senior Vice President for the Middle East, Africa, and the Indian Subcontinent; and Mathew Joseph, Regional Vice President for the Middle East and North Africa.
Covering around 23,200 square metres, the new facility is equipped to deliver a wide range of warehousing and fulfilment solutions. These include container freight station services, inventory control, kitting, labelling, order processing, compliance checks, return handling, transport coordination, pick-and-pack services, and quality inspections.
Commenting on the occasion, Mohsen Ahmad stated, “We are proud to celebrate the opening of Expeditors’ facility, which will bring forward-thinking logistics services to address the region’s rising need for sophisticated supply chain solutions. At Dubai South, we are committed to supporting Dubai’s strategic goal of becoming a top global logistics centre.”
Wael Hanna added, “Having first established our presence in Dubai over 25 years ago, we are thrilled to unveil this cutting-edge facility, which reflects our strong dedication to fulfilling customer needs and boosting operational performance.”
