emirates7 - Mubadala Investment Company, based in Abu Dhabi, has announced a $600 million agreement to acquire a minority stake in Nord Anglia Education, a prominent global network of international schools. Mubadala will join a consortium of investors led by global investment firm EQT, which also includes Neuberger Berman, the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, Corporación Financiera Alba, S.A., and Dubai Holding.

Nord Anglia operates more than 80 schools across 33 countries, educating over 90,000 students aged 2 to 18. The organisation is known for its consistently strong academic outcomes, with many Year 12 graduates gaining admission to top 100 universities worldwide. At the core of its educational philosophy is personalised learning, ensuring teaching methods are tailored to meet each student’s individual needs.
