flydubai adds Al Alamein in Egypt to its seasonal summer routes

emirates7 - flydubai has announced the launch of new seasonal summer flights to Al Alamein International Airport (DBB), offering daily service to one of the region's most exciting emerging holiday destinations. These flights will operate from 21 June to 7 September 2025, providing travelers from Dubai and beyond with direct access to Egypt’s popular North Coast, particularly the Al Sahel area.

Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO of flydubai, expressed excitement about adding Al Alamein to the airline’s seasonal summer schedule, emphasizing that the new service will give visitors an opportunity to experience Egypt’s Mediterranean coast, beautiful beaches, and vibrant atmosphere. He also reaffirmed flydubai’s commitment to boosting trade and tourism in underserved markets and supporting Dubai’s role as an aviation hub.

With this addition, flydubai’s network in Egypt expands to three destinations, including Alexandria and Cairo (Sphinx), served by 21 weekly flights. The airline has experienced increasing demand for its flights to Cairo's new airport, providing passengers with more travel options to the capital.

Sudhir Sreedharan, Divisional Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations for the UAE, GCC, Africa, and the Indian Subcontinent at flydubai, highlighted that the airline is always looking for opportunities to grow its network, especially during peak travel periods. He is confident that Al Alamein will become a popular summer destination for travelers from the UAE and across flydubai’s network, joining other sought-after destinations like Batumi, Bodrum, Corfu, Dubrovnik, Mykonos, Santorini, and Olbia.
