Fujairah Crown Prince attends 12th Energy Markets Forum

Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, highlighted the Emirate's pivotal role in supporting global energy markets and reaffirmed its position as a key economic center for international companies during the closing ceremony of the 12th Energy Markets Forum.

The forum, held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, was organized by the Port of Fujairah and Gulf Intelligence. Several notable figures attended, including H.H. Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority; Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation; Sheikh Sultan bin Saleh Al Sharqi; Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure; and other officials.

In his speech, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad emphasized Fujairah's growing significance in the global oil services and energy markets, attributing this success to the continued support and vision of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi. He acknowledged the Emirate’s leadership in launching forward-looking projects and attracting international investments, which have been instrumental in bolstering the sector’s competitiveness. These efforts contribute significantly to the broader economic and developmental progress in both Fujairah and the UAE.

Sheikh Mohammed also praised the forum for addressing Fujairah’s ability to adapt to global changes and its major role in driving the UAE’s economic expansion. He stressed the importance of ongoing collaboration and partnerships across key industries to promote climate action and sustainable energy initiatives.

Additionally, he noted that the forum's discussions, which brought together global industry leaders, experts, and policymakers, aimed to shape international policies and provide solutions to the pressing challenges currently facing the energy sector.
