emirates7 - Dr. Bader Abdullah Al Matrooshi, UAE Ambassador to the Republic of Cuba and Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Corps in Cuba, has met with Mario Felipe Sabines Lorenzo, Governor of the province of Matanzas, during his visit to the province, accompanied by a number of ambassadors.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen relations and widen prospects for cooperation in all fields, in addition to a number of issues of common interest.
Lorenzo praised the continuous cooperation between the UAE and Cuba through the implementation of a solar energy project with a production capacity of 15 megawatts, underscoring the importance of this project for Cuba. He also praised the project to rehabilitate water networks managed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
For his part, Al Matrooshi stressed the importance of relations between Arab countries and Cuba in all sectors, praising the strength of friendship and enduring cooperation in various fields of common interest.
