Costa Rica beat New Zealand to qualify for 2022 World Cup

emirates7 - Costa Rica beat New Zealand 1-0 to book their place at Qatar 2022 to become the 32nd and final team to qualify for the much-awaited event.

Qatar 2022 will be the third consecutive World Cup to feature Costa Rica. They also qualified for the final tournament in 1990, 2002 and 2006.

They will compete in Group E alongside Spain, Germany and Japan.
