Three fire incidents reported in Abu Dhabi from missile debris: 6 injured, including Indian and Pakistani nationals

emirates7 - Abu Dhabi authorities have reported a third fire near the Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD), following debris from a ballistic missile that was successfully intercepted by air defences.

An additional injury was recorded, this time to a Pakistani national, bringing the total number of injured to six. Earlier, the authorities confirmed that the incident resulted in minor to moderate injuries to five Indian nationals.

The Abu Dhabi Media Office said all three fires are now under control and the cooling process is underway. The public has been urged to follow official sources for updates and avoid spreading unverified information.

UAE authorities issued multiple safety alerts early Thursday after air defence systems intercepted missiles and drones launched from Iran. The first alert came at 3:26am, followed by a second at 4:05am and a third at 6:24am, urging residents to stay in safe locations and follow official guidance.

The Ministry of Defence confirmed that the sounds reported across the UAE were from air defences intercepting ballistic missiles, while fighter jets engaged cruise missiles and drones.

Residents were warned not to approach or handle debris and to report any related incidents to emergency authorities. Officials said the situation is being closely monitored, with further updates expected.
