Abu Dhabi Police have released some real scenes of how drivers' mistakes can cause major accidents on the road. They shared a video of multiple accidents, warning motorists against distracted driving.

The video showed cars going off-lane, rolling over and crashing into other vehicles on the road in a dangerous manner.

In cooperation with the Monitoring and Control Center, the police presented the footage as lessons for drivers, with an awareness message aimed at enhancing traffic awareness and reducing wrong behaviors by some drivers that threaten the safety of road users.

"Being distracted by anything while on the road, even for a few seconds, may turn an ordinary trip into a tragedy, so pay attention. Life is more precious than any message or call," the police said.
